We had a real scare last month. We nearly lost George. I will not go into details why for it is private. I realized that I have been taking them for granted. Not any more!
I plan to and have been spending more time with them. This is needed. I can learn a good lesson from my own father. He did not spend time with us as he should have. However, he did provide for us. We had a roof over our heads, we did recieve guidance from him.
Time has taught me many things. One thing is in this world trying to "please" people is a futile exercise. We should be looking to the heavens to our father there. Here on earth if one is making good money others will not praise that one. Instead they will be jealous and seek some way to undermine them.
This nearly happened to us last year. Note to self...keep your mouth shut not everyone around you who say "I consider you to be my friend" are actually a friend. We often forget that in life the friend we have is the one we take for granted the most. Our wives, and husbands.
So to conclude (this took ages to post due to scheduling changes at work), I will end my time working were I am at soonish (7 to 10 months). We will spend more time with our boys. Also, in this world friends are trully hard to come by. In this world.
