I was enjoying a donut this afternoon with my coffee...I usually like having a cup of nice black coffee before my class....i love the texture, the aroma, the kick....anyways, today while sipping on my coffee and devouring my delicious donut....it was a cream donut..it was soft, with rich delicious creamy filling and a nice white and pink icing on top..so while eating it i remembered the quotation mentioned above...it got me thinking about how true it is...half of the time because we are focusing on the wrong stuff or have such a pessimistic view about things that we fail to enjoy the good things, the nice moments, the simple things, the delicious creamy gooeyness...i know i do it alot and is something i am working on...to focus on the good...because come to think of it if you are worrying about the future there is probably nothing you can do about it and if it's the past then it's already over..it's the here and now that is important but oft times we forget and loose focus...so my recommendation is : go out, get a donut, and enjoy the delicious creamy goodness....and live in the moment...i love the speech Lady Macbeth made towards the end summarizing how futile it is to worry about something that's already happened....

Nuff said...this woman writes so wonderfully! I am so glad...readers of this here blog...I had to on her case to spill out her literary abilities. Yeah we usually have coffee together. Abu this is a new development.
Sadly, I have had one too many donuts. It's the getting them to leave that preoccupies me.
I want some dunkin donuts. Koreans love it here! I want some. I want burger king (seoul), Wendy's (USA military bases), ARRRRGGGGGHHHH.
I wish they would pack up Arbys, Burger King, Carl's Jr, Wendy's, and all the rest of them and ship 'em elsewhere. I hate cooking and these are my bane!
....SHIP THEM HERE!!!! COME TO ASIA!!! COME TO ASIA!!!!!! It sucks to live with out. Also drive through Mcdonalds, are in Korea. (Seoul, Busan) Maybe other places too.
